Position: Press Brake Operator

Position Mission:
Operate a press brake and small stamping press to shape parts according to specifications. Use hand tools to set up the press based on print requirements. Perform detailed inspections using measurement tools, ensuring parts meet print specifications and check sheet criteria.
Compensation: $17.00 – $28.00/ hr.
$1.50/hour shift differential for second and third shifts.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Overview:
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate setup and production.
- Adjust ram heights as required for proper machine operation.
- Follow work instructions, check sheets, processes, and procedures to inspect parts for compliance with specifications.
- Properly apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safety.
- Set back gauges, both manually and automatically, to achieve precise positioning.
- Accurately document work by completing work orders, production logs, quality check sheets, shipping tags, and other required records.
- Support team objectives by contributing to overall production goals.
- Perform continuous inspections, comparing products to approved samples to ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO/TS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong physical dexterity, basic math skills, and ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Prior assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic measurement tools, such as tape measures, Vernier calipers, thread gauges, and torque wrenches, as needed.
