Position: Assembler Packer

Position Mission: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as test fixtures, to assemble and package products accurately. Support team members with daily tasks and assist in troubleshooting operational issues as needed.
Compensation: $15.25 – $19.00/ hr.
$1.50/hour shift differential for second and third shifts.
Revision Level: R1 (3.26.2025)
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Overview:
- Rotate through various assembly tasks to ensure efficient production.
- Verify the presence of all required parts before assembly.
- Read and interpret work instructions, processes, and procedures to accurately position parts and subassemblies using guidelines or sample pieces.
- Inspect connections for proper fit, perform necessary modifications, and report assembly errors.
- Monitor inventory levels, anticipate supply needs, and communicate with Department Leads or Supervisors.
- Accurately document work by completing work orders, production logs, quality check sheets, and shipping tags.
- Support team objectives by contributing to overall production goals.
- Conduct ongoing inspections, comparing assembled products to approved samples to ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO/TS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong physical dexterity, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Communication & Teamwork: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience: Prior assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Technical Competency: Familiarity with basic measurement tools, including tape measures, Vernier calipers, thread gauges, and torque wrenches, as needed.
