Position Mission:

As an Outside Sales Representative, this role will have the opportunity to create an impact on D&D NAPA, Inc. retail store impacting growth, sales/profit, and inventory turnover quota to help the company achieve optimum return on investments. The Outside Sales Representative will directly support designated D&D NAPA, Inc. store locations. The Outside Sales Representative will provide direct support to assigned D&D NAPA, Inc. customers.

Compensation:

Salary, Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 per year, stipend, and bonus opportunities

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Overview:

  • Effectively direct sell to designated D&D NAPA Inc. customers

  • Effectively support $4.5M in business and up to 150 accounts annually

  • Seek out New Accounts for D&D NAPA, Inc. retail store locations

  • Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service

  • Work with the Store Manager(s) to provide business planning designed to reach product and sales goals

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

  • Must maintain a well-groomed, neat appearance while complying with D&D NAPA Inc. Policies

  • Executes weekly, monthly and quarterly sales plans to achieve business growth opportunities consistent with the company’s growth objectives

  • Build and maintain relationships with team members you are supporting

  • Perform other duties as assigned and defined

  • Support the creation of a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration, drive store growth, increase sales and profitability

  • Partner with store employees and other store managers in order to drive company owned store initiatives

  • Support a successful team, support the store employees, and lead in a fast-paced retail store

  • Support D&D NAPA, Inc. operational and marketing programs while steering toward continuous improvement in processes and procedure

  • Grow customer and D&D NAPA, Inc. retail store relationships, assisting where needed to assure a positive experience both in the store and on the phone

Requirements / Qualifications Overview:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Sales driven and customer focused. Strong Sales / Sales Support / Customer Service experience along with dealing with the public is required (1-2 years Automotive Retail Parts)

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and leverage technology to communicate and be effective

  • Effective written/verbal communication skills and strong analytical/problem solving skills; written, verbal, and presentation along with active listening

  • Ideal candidate should excel at managing multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines

  • Must be adaptable, resourceful, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail is necessary, ensuring that all aspects of the duties you perform are orderly and that everything is maintained in its proper place.

  • Must be reliable, organized, detailed, focused, along with demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with sales teams and retail store team members

  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to navigate rejections/objections

  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
