Position Mission:          
Operate a press brake and small stamping press to shape parts according to specifications. Use hand tools to set up the press based on print requirements. Perform detailed inspections using measurement tools, ensuring parts meet print specifications and check sheet criteria.

Compensation:           $20.00 – $22.00/ hr. 
$1.50/hour shift differential for second and third shifts.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Overview:

  • Accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Properly operate calipers, protractor, use a veneer scale
  • Understand how to read angles and dimensions on blueprints
  • Identify and select the correct dies for proper part forming
  • Set dies with clear direction and support
  • Perform minor ram adjustments with assistance
  • Make minor back-gauge adjustments with assistance
  • Demonstrate basic print reading skills
  • Operate equipment to run parts as instructed
  • Inspect parts against print specifications with guidance
  • Perform continuous inspections, comparing products to approved samples to ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO/TS standards.
  • Independently set up dies and punches
  • Adjust ram settings without assistance
  • Adjust back gauges as needed for production
  • Make basic edits or adjustments to existing CNC programs
  • Apply basic print reading skills with minimal supervision
  • Independently inspect parts to ensure they meet print specifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong physical dexterity, basic math skills, and ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with basic measurement tools, such as tape measures, Vernier calipers, thread gauges, and torque wrenches, required.
